Effect of auricular point pressing beans combined with acupuncture and moxibustion on serum inflammatory factors and neurotransmitters in patients with depression after percutaneous coronary intervention
Objective To explore the effect of auricular point pressing beans combined with acupuncture and moxibustion on serum inflammatory factors and neurotransmitters in depressed patients after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 88 post-PCI depression patients admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to January 2023 were collected and randomly divided into a control group(44 cases, acupuncture)and a combined treatment group(44 cases, auricular point pressure bean + acupuncture). The curative effect and patients' depression and anxiety, measure were evaluated and the levels of serum inflammatory factors and neurotransmitters between the two groups before and after treatment were compared, and adverse reactions were recorded. Results The total effective rate of the combined treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)in the combined treatment group were significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);the levels of serum interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in the combined treatment group after treatment were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);the levels of serum 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)and norepinephrine(NE)in the combined treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Auricular point pressure beans combined with acupuncture and moxibustion for post-PCI depression can effectively regulate the levels of serum inflammatory factors and neurotransmitters in patients, and improve their anxiety and depression. It is effective and safe.
