Objective To understand the dietary status of employees in state-owned enterprises in northern Shaanxi and guide them on healthy eating.Methods A stratified sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on the dietary status of employees in power plants,coal mines,and railway industries in northern Shaanxi,including personal basic information and various dietary intake levels.Results 10.12%of employees consumed less than one day of vegetables and fruits per week on average,10.80%and 27.66%of employees hardly consumed eggs and milk,and 17.22%and 24.93%of employees frequently ate sweets and high-fat foods;Female employees consumed more soy products than male employees,and the 5~7 day intake rate of milk and dairy products in employees under the age of 30 was higher than that in the 30-year-old group.There are statistical differences in various dietary intakes among different industries.The 5~7 day intake rate of vegetables and fruits among power plant employees was higher than that of railway employees,while the 5~7 day intake rate of eggs among coal mine employees was higher than that of power plant employees.Conclusion Dietary intake of workers in state-owned enterprises in northern Shaanxi Province is not balanced,and it is recommended that enterprises should carry out targeted health education,and the kitchen department should reasonably plan daily dishes to ensure the intake of various types of nutrients.
