The evolutionary trend of urban-rural common prosperity in the process of manufacturing agglom-eration and urbanization is of great significance for achieving the high-quality development.Based on empirical data from the Northeast region, the dynamic relationship between manufacturing agglomeration, urbanization, and urban-rural common prosperity has been empirically tested by the PVAR model. Results show that there is a stable equilibrium relationship among the three in the long run,and both manufacturing agglomeration and ur-banization have a significant positive impact on the common prosperity of urban and rural areas. In the short term, the dynamic relationship among the three has not reached the optimal level.Urbanization has a more direct and obvious explanatory power on the short-term fluctuations of urban-rural common prosperity, while the ex-planatory power of manufacturing agglomeration on the changes of urban-rural common prosperity is also in-creasing over time. The evolutionary relationship between manufacturing agglomeration, urbanization, and ur-ban-rural common prosperity has staged characteristics.Due to the high friction costs, the interaction between manufacturing agglomeration and urbanization has not achieved a positive accumulation.Under the dual goals of high-quality development and common prosperity, the Northeast region should improve the form of manufactur-ing agglomeration, focus on the connotation development of urbanization and quality improvement, promote the cyclic accumulation of the synergistic effect between manufacturing agglomeration and urbanization, and thus put forward the urban-rural common prosperity.
