The Eighth Congress of the Workers'Party of Korea(WPK)proposed that the DPRK has entered the era of"principle of our state first",which is the outlook of the WPK represented by Kim Jong Un and a new theoretical achievement of the WPK."Principle of our state first"is based on the achievements made by the Korean socialism since Kim Jong Un took power.With Marxism and"Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il doctrine"as the theoretical basis,it responds successfully to the domestic and international challenges faced by the DPRK since the COVID-19 outbreak.It is a reflection of the new ideological theory built up by the WPK in the process of promoting the construction of Korean-style socialism during Kim Jong Un's ten-year administration.It will guide the strategic direction of the WPK in addressing the great changes unseen in a century and have a profound impact on the domestic and diplomatic trends of the DPRK.
