After the WWII,Japanese history textbooks were constantly troubled with the interwoven development of"improvement"and"deterioration",and the overall trend was rightward.Through textual analysis of the wars between China and Japan in History of Japan B of Sanka Version(Revised Edition),the senior high school history textbook with the highest market share at present in Japan, this paper explores the characteristics and logic of the view of war presented in the textbook. The contents of history textbooks reflect the complex entanglement of Japan's realistic political interests and cultural traditions. It is the result of the multidimensional game of various forces, and embodies the realistic national will and interests. It is of great significance for the China-Japan relations as well as the peaceful development to distinguish and reflect on the nature of the view of war in Japanese history textbooks and strengthen the guidance of the correct view of war for the young students.
