While a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation,with digitalization as the key feature,continues to advance,the mode of production and lifestyle is un-dergoing profound changes,and the digital economy has become a new key driving force to promote the quality and expansion of consumption.Entering the era of digital economy,a series of major changes have taken place in residents'consumption behaviors,consumption preferences and consumption objects,showing new features such as optimization of the consumption structure,changes in consumption con-cepts,and shift in consumption space.The digital economy can promote the consumption ability and willingness of consumers,further improve the supply quality of consumer objects and innovation and up-grading,release the long tail effect,optimize and innovate the consumption scenario,and enhance the quality and expansion of consumption based on the collaborative empowerment of consumer subjects,consumer objects and consumption scenarios.While the digital economy enables consumption to improve quality and expand capacity,it also faces challenges such as the inherent contradiction of digital con-sumption,digital divide,and the construction of digital governance system.In order to fully release the potential of domestic demand and enhance the basic role of consumption in economic development,it is proposed to start from the four aspects of consumption subjects,consumption objects,consumption sce-narios and consumption governance,remove the obstacles restricting the realization and upgrading of con-sumption,and stimulate more internal development momentum.
