Contemporary Implications of Accelerating the Development of New Quality Productive Forces
General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important discussions on the development of new quality productive forces have profoundly answered the major theoretical and practical questions of"what are new productive forces,why should they be developed,and how should they be developed".They are of great theoretical significance and contemporary connotation.The emergence of new productive forces is in line with the law of movement of productive forces and productive relations,inheriting Marx's view that"pro-ductive forces also include science"and placing more emphasis on scientific and technological innovation as a leader force,and inheriting and developing Marx's view that collaboration is a factor of productive forces.Accelerating the development of new quality productive forces reflects the innovation and develop-ment of the Marxist theory on productive forces.In addition,the theory of new quality productive forces is different from the existing productive forces theories and economic growth theories in the West,focusing more on the core position of technological innovation in economic development and emphasizing the close integration of technological innovation and industrial upgrading,which is a transcendence of the Western theory and the latest achievement of the"theory of a strong nation".Accelerating the development of new quality productive forces is a manifestation of Chinese discourse and Chinese theory.
