In 2015,Elon Musk proposed the construction of the"Starlink"Internet constellation system,which officially opened the curtain of the construction of the airspace Internet.In 2024,the role of satel-lite information transmission is changing from special transmission to mass communication,and famous brands such as Huawei,Apple,Glory,and OPPO have formally announced that they will integrate satel-lite communication technology into their latest generation of flagship models.On 26 February 2024,SpaceX announced that it had successfully published the first"space"post on the social platform X through its"Starlink"satellite network.Starting from the perspective of media evolution that the space Internet is an iterative update of the terrestrial Internet,the paper analyses the differences and connection between the space Internet and media evolution,clarifies the characteristics of the development of Internet constellations as a medium,and analyses the media changes brought about by the space Internet.On this basis,the future strength of the media industry is discussed from the triple perspectives of content produc-tion,product circulation,and reconfiguration of services.It sheds light for the development of next-gen-eration Internet,especially for promoting the media industry to layout in advance and participating in the construction of next-generation Internet.
