The mechanism of Herba Centipedae in the treatment of gastric cancer studied by network pharmacology
OBJECTIVE To explore the mechanism of Herba Centipedae in the treatment of gastric cancer studied by network pharmacology methods.METHODS Based on the related research of Herba Centipedae in the database of Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology(TCMSP),the main active ingredients of Herba Centipedae were analyzed and predicted.SwissTargetPrediction and the SEA database were used to obtain the target genes related to Herba Centipedae, and gastric cancer target genes were retrieved from the GEO database. In the Venny 2.1.0 database, the same targets of the main active ingredients of Herba Centipedae and gastric cancer were compared. The drug-ingredient-target-disease network diagram was constructed using Cytoscape 3.9.1 software, and the protein-protein interaction analysis was performed on the common targets combined with the STRING database, and PPI network was constructed to determine the core targets.Metascape platform was used to conduct GO enrichment analysis and KEGG signal pathway enrichment analysis for the core targets, and column charts and bubble charts were drawn on bioinformatics plotting platform to reflect the research results.RESULTS A total of 108 chemical ingredients were obtained by exploring the TCMSP database, and 17 effective chemical ingredients and 757 ingredient targets were identified after screening, and 36 common targets were obtained by intersecting with 225 gastric cancer related targets, involving 18 signaling pathways.CONCLUSION PDGFRB,PLAU,PLA2G1B,and CDC25B genes in the Ras,Rap1,PI3K-Akt and MAPK signaling pathways have strong associations with the molecular mechanisms of Herba Centipedae in the treatment of gastric cancer.
