Effect of evidence-based preventive strategies on the complications of fibrosclerosis in patients with scleroderma
OBJECTIVE To explore the effect of evidence-based preventive strategies on the complications of fibrosclerosis in patients with scleroderma.METHODS A total of 62 patients with systemic scleroderma(SSc)admitted from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected.According to the evidence-based strategy,31 patients admitted from January 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the control group and given routine nursing intervention, and 31 patients admitted from July 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the experimental group and given an evidence-based preventive nursing strategy. The onset of Raynaud's phenomenon(RP)and the degree of skin sclerosis(modified Rodnan score scale)were evaluated in SSc patients of the two groups before and after the intervention. The improvement of fibrosclerosis complications was assessed by joint function and swallowing function scores, and the length of hospital stay was calculated.RESULTS After intervention, the incidence of RP,the scores of skin stiffness, joint function and swallowing function of SSc patients in both groups were significantly lower than before intervention(P<0.05),and the scores of four items in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group after intervention(P<0.05),and the length of hospital stay was significantly shortened(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Evidence-based preventive strategies can effectively prevent the onset of RP,delay skin sclerosis, enhance joint and swallowing function of SSc patients, shorten hospital stay, reduce the risk of complications of fibrosclerosis, and can be applied clinically.
