Comparison of the application effect of minimally invasive techniques and traditional methods in dental implant surgery
Objective:To observe and compare the application effect of minimally invasive techniques and traditional methods in dental implant surgery. Methods:A total of 100 patients with missing teeth and dentition admitted to the Stomatology Department of Anhai Hospital of Jinjiang City from January 2022 to December 2023 who underwent implant restoration treatment were selected as the experimental subjects and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received traditional implant surgery, while the observation group received minimally invasive implant surgery. The operation time, wound healing time, treatment cost, treatment effect, aesthetics and the incidence of postoperative complications of the two groups were statistically compared. Results:Compared with the control group, the operation time and wound healing time of the observation group were shorter, and the treatment cost was higher, with statistical significance(p<0.05).The total effective rate of the two groups was 94.00%,with no statistical significance(P>0.05).The implant aesthetics score of the observation group was significantly higher(10.31±1.53)than that of the control group(8.12±1.67),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was 2.00%,which was significantly lower than 12.00%in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:In dental implant surgery, compared with the traditional methods, the minimally invasive techniques can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, improve the aesthetics of implants, and has higher clinical application value.
