Observation on the effect of nutritional support combined with antiretroviral therapy on AIDS patients with nutritional deficiency
Objective:To analyze the effect of nutritional support combined with antiretroviral therapy on AIDS patients with nutritional deficiency. Methods:A total of 82 cases of AIDS initial treatment combined with nutritional deficiency patients from the Infection Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method. They were treated with antiretroviral therapy, antiretroviral therapy+nutritional support therapy, respectively. The effects were compared 6 months later.Result:After treatment, the viral load of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),the observation group had fewer bowel movements and a shorter time to stop diarrhea(P<0.05),and the improvement effect of nutritional indicators in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in immune function between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, there was no significant difference in CD8+levels between the two groups(P>0.05),while the CD4+levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group had a higher quality of life score(P<0.05).Conclusion:During the antiretroviral therapy for AIDS patients with nutritional deficiency, nutritional support can promote the nutritional level of the body and enhance immunity.
