Observation on the curative effect of acupuncture combined with neural rehabilitation in the treatment of moderate and severe peripheral facial paralysis
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with neural rehabilitation in the treatment of moderate and severe peripheral facial paralysis. Methods:A total of 120 patients with moderate to severe peripheral facial paralysis treated in Nanyang Rehabilitation Hospital from March 2021 to March 2024 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 60 cases in each group. They received conventional acupuncture treatment and conventional acupuncture combined with neural rehabilitation treatment, respectively. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared. Results:After treatment, the experimental group showed significant advantages in facial nerve function grading and Portmann facial paralysis simple score.Compared with the control group, the total effective rate was also significantly higher, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with neural rehabilitation therapy can effectively improve the facial function in patients with moderate to severe peripheral facial paralysis, promote neural recovery, and increase the clinical treatment efficiency. The effect is significant and worthy of clinical promotion and application.
