Correlational analysis of self-efficacy,social support,and anxiety severity in women with abnormal cervical cancer screening results
Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate self-efficacy,social support and anxiety severity in women with abnormal cervical cancer screening results and their correlate.Methods:A convenience sampling method was used to select 60 women with abnormal cervical cancer screening results from April 2022 to May 2023 in Nantong Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.The General Information Questionnaire,General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES),Social Support Questionnaire and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale were used to investigate the women with abnormal cervical cancer screening results.Results:The total score of self-efficacy of the research objects was(16.45±5.33),the total score of social support was(60.21±7.32),and the total score of anxiety was(51.23±9.12).Univariate analysis showed that the women with older age,high school education and below and living in rural areas had lower self-efficacy,lower degree of social support and higher level of anxiety,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Self-efficacy of the research objects was positively correlated with social support and negatively correlated with anxiety.Conclusion:Improving the self-efficacy of women with abnormal cervical cancer screening results may help reduce the degree of anxiety,and social support should be strengthened in this population.
