Study on the value of electrocardiogram QRS wave in the diagnosis of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction combined with atrial fibrillation
Objective:To investigate the value of electrocardiogram QRS wave in the diagnosis of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF)combined with atrial fibrillation(AF).Methods:250 HFpEF patients with AF and 100 HFpEF patients without AF admitted to Anhui Cancer Hospital from February to June 2024 were selected and divided into an observation group(HFpEF patients with AF)and a control group(HFpEF patients without AF).The QRS wave duration, left ventricular ejection fractions(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDd),cardiac function grading(according to NYHA cardiac function grading criteria),and incidence of bundle branch block were compared between two groups. Results:The results showed that the QRS wave duration and LVEDd of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the LVEF was lower than that of the control group. In addition, the proportion of patients with NYHA grade IV and bundle branch block in the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:There are differences in QRS wave duration,LVEF,LVEDd,cardiac function grading, and incidence of bundle branch block between HFpEF patients with AF and HFpEF patients without AF.Electrocardiogram QRS wave detection can be used to differentiate and diagnose whether HFpEF patients are complicated with AF,assist clinical dctors in accurately assessing the patients'condition, and provide a basis for clinical doctors to develop reasonable treatment plans.
