This paper provides a detailed introduction to how CNOOC Oil and Materials Research Institute uses local area networks to solve the problem of decentralized control in pilot testing equipment.By establishing a local area net-work,different brand control systems and communication methods are integrated into a central control room,to success-fully solve the problem of decentralized monitoring and improve the level of automation control.The successful application of local area networks has excellent promotion and reference significance for achieving centralized control and information sharing of small-scale,multiple sets of pilot test equipment and laboratory equipment.
