Development of Large-scale Water Quality Monitoring System Based on Cloud Platform
Water pollution incidents in large water bodies such as rivers,lakes,reservoirs,and the South to North Water Diversion Line may cause serious harm to industrial and agricultural production and people's lives.A large-scale water quality monitoring system based on cloud platforms is developed,including low-power water quality monitoring sensor nodes and centralized monitoring application software based on cloud platforms.The water quality monitoring sensor node consists of an ARM processor,a low-power narrowband Internet of Things(NB IoT)communication module,and an RT Thread based IoT operating system.The remote monitoring application software is designed using MVC+HTML5+CSS mode,and a centralized water quality monitoring platform through Alibaba Cloud is built.The test results indicate that users can utilize centralized monitoring,querying,and analyzing water quality data from multiple nodes.The successful development of this system provides technical support for water quality deterioration alarm and early warning.
