Application of Fire Storage Combined Technology in Source-side Frequency Modulation
In the construction of the new generation power grid, with the high proportion of wind and solar new energy integration into the grid, the input and output power balance of the power grid is facing severe challenges, and higher standards are proposed for the response speed and accuracy of frequency modulation technology. At present,auto-matic generation control(AGC),as the main frequency modulation technology, relies mainly on thermal power plants for its core strength. However, due to the inherent characteristics of thermal power generation, its response inertia problem cannot be completely solved. To solve this problem,it is proposed to combine thermal power generation with energy stor-age technology to construct a composite frequency modulation system, and develop a regulation strategy model for it.Through model testing and simulation of actual power plant operation data, the results show that compared to individual frequency regulation of thermal power generation, the combined frequency regulation of thermal power storage not only maintains high mileage and output stability of thermal power generation frequency regulation, but also significantly improves the response speed and regulation accuracy, enabling it to respond more timely and accurately to the frequency regulation needs of the power grid.
