The deterioration of vacuum degree in the arc extinguishing chamber of high-voltage circuit breakers will have an impact on the electrical performance and service life of the circuit breaker. Therefore,a design scheme for an online monitoring device for vacuum degree of high-voltage circuit breakers based on capacitance coupling method is pro-posed.By coupling capacitors, the arcing signal of the circuit breaker during opening and closing is obtained. The voltage signal is collected using FPGA,and Fourier transform is performed on it to analyze the frequency domain characteristics of the signal. Finally, the frequency spectrum of the arcing signal is obtained. The experimental results show that the device can obtain real-time spectral information of the arc pulling signal when the circuit breaker opens and closes, thereby judging the vacuum degree of its arc extinguishing chamber. This solution is of great significance to ensure the stable operation of high-voltage circuit breakers and extend their service life.
