Parking lots serve as crucial resources in the transportation system, and their effective management is a significant means to address key issues within the system. With the rapid economic development and social complexity in China, problems in the transportation system have also become increasingly prominent. To alleviate the difficulty of urban parking,an indoor parking management system based on a microcontroller has been proposed.Utilizing the 51 microcon-troller as the control core, the system detects vehicle operation status through infrared sensors to simulate real-time parking lot conditions,so as to accurately obtain the total number of parking spaces, the number of parked cars, and the number of available parking spaces.Hardware and software design schemes have been analyzed in detail. After joint debugging and simulation testing, the results indicate that the designed parking management system can effectively address issues of parking lot management confusion, improving both the efficiency of parking lot management and user experience.
