Research on Torque Sensor Base on Counter-Wiedemann Effect for Automobile EPS
A new torque sensor based on Counter-Wiedemann effect of Fe-base amorphous alloy was discussed, and it can be used for automobile electronic power steering. The principle and structure of the sensor were presented. By making a torque measuring experiment, the effect of the exciting field intensity on measurement accuracy was analyzed, and the static characteristic and temperature drift no-loading of sensor were got. The experimental result shows the sensor's measurement precision is 1. 0% . In addition, the sensor's structure is simple and its operational reliability is superior. So it is feasible to apply it for the automobile electronic power steering.
