Measurement of Oil Moisture Content Based on QCM Liquid Density Response Model
The problem of inaccurate measurement of high and low water content has always existed in oilfield development. The new renewable biodiesel also needs to control water content to ensure calorific value and stability. In this paper,a method of oil moisture content measurement based on quartz crystal microbalance(QCM)liquid density response model was proposed. The model was verified by five groups of standard glycerol solutions. The results show that the error between the experimental value and the theoretical value is less than 5%,and the error range is less than 1%in the two cases of low water content and high water content. The validity of the model is verified by repeatability experiments. The applicability of the model is confirmed by the re-sults of field measurement.
