Analysis of Influence of Ring Induction Electrode on Sensitivity of Electrostatic Sensor
In order to improve the sensitivity of the electrostatic cross-correlation velocity measurement sensor, the influence of the ring induction electrode on the sensitivity of the sensor was studied.COMSOL simulation software was used to establish the sensor model for simulation, and the influence of the electrode axial length on the sensitivity distribution characteristics of the e-lectrostatic sensor was obtained.Based on the simulation results,a free-fall experiment platform was built to determine the optimal axial length of the electrode. The simulation results show that with the increase of electrode axial length, the axial sensitivity and radial sensitivity of the sensor also increase, but the overall uniformity will become worse. The axial length of the ring induction e-lectrode has a significant effect on the radial sensitivity distribution of the sensor, but has no significant effect on the axial sensi-tivity distribution. The free fall experiment shows that the sensor has the best measuring effect when the electrode axial length is 9 mm.
