Analysis of Temperature Influence Characteristics of U-tube Coriolis Mass Flowmeter
The influence of temperature on Coriolis mass flowmeter(CMF)used for low temperature fluid flow measurement such as liquid hydrogen cannot be ignored.Based on the Castigliano's second theorem,a mathematical model of U-tube CMF con-sidering the influence of temperature was established from the perspective of energy. The experimental platform of U-tube CMF was built and the model was verified by experimental data comparison. On this basis, considering the dependence of the solid physical parameters of the measuring tube on temperature, the influence of temperature on Coriolis flowmeter was explored, and a correction method including Young's modulus,Poisson's ratio and linear expansion coefficient was proposed at cryogenic tempera-ture.Through the numerical simulation of liquid nitrogen and comparison of liquid helium Coriolis flowmeter experience,it is found that the comprehensive correction of Young's modulus,Poisson's ratio and linear expansion coefficient is more precise than the constant temperature compensation coefficient correction. The research results are helpful to understand the measurement characteristics of CMF at cryogenic temperature.
