Design of Multifunction Signal Source System and Research on Data Compression Methods
In various security assessments for devices within the smart grid,it is necessary to simulate a variety of fault sig-nals and repeatedly configure numerous test parameters.To address this requirement,a versatile and user-friendly signal source system was designed.This signal source system can not only output multiple adjustable DC and AC signals,but also introduce dig-ital input and output signals to create state sequence tests,thereby simulating various power grid operational faults.Utilizing SQLite for storing and accessing test data enabled rapid execution of various electrical tests,enhancing detection efficiency.By usingmixed entropy encoding and lifting-based wavelet transform,recording files were compressed in COMTRADE format.This compression technique not only saved storage space,but also exhibited higher compression ratios and lower reconstruction errors compared to alternative algorithms.Through testing,the system can realize user-defined signal modulation and simulate various fault signals,achieving excellent results when applied in engineering field application.
