Honeycomb Capacitance Sensor for Engine Sliding Oil Abrasive Grain Detection Based on Complex Capacitance Modeling
The abnormal particles produced inside the aero-engine reflect the health of the components,while the quality of the sliding oil also directly affects the health of the components.In order to improve the detection sensitivity of the sensor,while considering the conductivity of the medium and reducing the processing difficulty,a honeycomb capacitance sensor based on the complex capacitance model was designed.The sensor utilized three circular electrode plates to divide the sensitive field,and a-dopted a differential structure with an AC bridge to amplify the detection signal.The interior of the electrode plates was in the form of a mesh,and the circular holes were distributed in a positive hexagonal shape.Based on the physical field simulation,the control variable method was used to analyze the relationship between the slippery oil quality,structural parameters,abrasive grain characteristics and the complex capacitance value.In a pipe with an outer diameter of 10 mm and an inner diameter of 8 mm,38 μm iron abrasive particles,60 μm aluminum abrasive particles and moisture particles,and 155 μm wollastonite particles can be de-tected,which can effectively analyze the quality of the slippery oil,and differentiate between abrasive particle size and material.
