Discovering and Compiling Bing Xin's Two Speech Drafts of About Japan in Chong Shing Daily and Kunlun Daily
In the June of 1947,the supplement Jina of Kunlun Daily,published in Hanzhong,in the issue of 17(on June 24th)and 18(on June 27th)serialized Mrs Bing Xin's Speech About Japan by Shi Qingji,a key member of the Youth League of Three Principles of the People.In the same year,Chong Shing Supplement of Chong Shing Daily,which published in Chengdu,in the issue of 1657(on July 17th)and 1658(on July 18th)serial-ized Bing Xin's Speech Draft About Japan,recorded by Zhang Lixing and Wu Tianzhi,who are proficient in shorthand.The two speech drafts haven't been noted by The Complete Works of Bing Xin,A Long Chronology of Bing Xin or other research.And they are of historical importance that enrich Bing Xin's speech activities such as interaction with audience,background of the speech,talking details,and post-war psychology at the Headquarters of Youth League on May 29,1947,reflecting Bing Xin's concern on the international pattern,women's status,China-Japan relations and post-war national psychology,thus expanding new explanatory space for Bing Xin's cultural image.
