Diversity of Rhizosphere Bacteria of Winter Wheat and Their Plant-promoting Activities
36 strains of rhizosphere bacteria isolated from the winter wheat of Xinjiang were studied by 16S rRNA gene se-quence determination and phylogenetic analysis, and their phosphorus-solublization and nitrogen-fixing activities were tested. The results show that 36 strains are distributed in 3 phyla,5 classes,11 orders,14 families and 14 genera, among which Proteobacte-ria and Actinomycetota are the dominant phyla(47.2%and 47.2%of the total strains respectively),Rhodococcus is the major genus(36.1%of the total strains),and there is a potential new species;using calcium phosphate as substrate, the qualitative test shows that 50.0%of the tested strains have phosphorus-solubilizing activity;the phosphorus-solubilizing activities of strain 57 is the highest among the 5 strains tested quantitatively(11.5 mg/L);66.7%of the strains tested had nitrogen-fixing activity, and 45.8%of them had strong nitrogen-fixing activity. The results show that the diversity of rhizosphere bacteria of the winter wheat in Xinjiang is very rich, most of them have phosphorus-solubilizing or nitrogen-fixing activities.
