Summary of Symposium on Commemorating the Third Anniversary of Imple-mentation of Community Correction Law and Modernization of Chinese Path Community Correction and RNR Intelligent Correction System and Its Applica-tion
In the three years since the promulgation and implementation of the Community Correction Law,many problems have been discovered in the practice process:the legal status and role of non-governmental or-ganizations are undefined;the investigation and evaluation before the implementation of community correction and imprisonment are merely formalistic,the change decision process is not publicly disclosed,and there is a lack of relief channels for the change results.The characteristic practices of community correction in some provinces and cities in China have reference significance for other regions.Being an important way and trend to achieve modernization of community correction work,intelligent correction empowers the community correc-tion technology support system through technology,solves the practical difficulties of classification manage-ment and individualized correction,provides a large amount of accurate information and scientific correction basis for correction plans.The application of community correction in China has not been long,and the future development of the modernization of Chinese path community correction still needs to face and improve many problems.Therefore,it is necessary to further accelerate the construction of the Chinese characteristic commu-nity correction work system.
