从物的情动到符号的规训:《一双长丝袜》的主体性问题再探讨

学界既有的对《一双长丝袜》的解读主要形成了女性主义与消费主义两种不同的逻辑,得出了主体觉醒与主体消解两种不可调和的对立性观点.这些解读简化了萨默斯太太与物的多重关系及过程,忽略了萨默斯太太消费活动的起始点,也就是与丝袜的关系的复杂性:萨默斯太太触摸到丝袜时以身体直感的悸动为基础的情动,指向行动的、生成主体的可能性.但是在后续的审美消费和信息消费中,具体的物从与个体的占有式联系中脱身,情动被纳入表征,重构为商品世界中的审美的、感性的符号化经验,在气氛营造和具有区隔感的信息中指向消费的体验性快感,主体也在这种消费逻辑中被规训.
From the Emotion of the Object to the Discipline of the Symbol:Re-discussion on the Subjectivity of A Pair of Stockings
The existing interpretation of A Pair of Stockings has mainly formed the different logic of feminism and consumerism,two irreconcilable opposites of subject awakening and subject digestion are obtained.The common problem with these interpretations is that they simplify Mrs.Summers's multiple relationships and processes with things,and in particular ignore the starting point of Mrs.Summers's consumption activities,that is to say,the complexity of the relationship with the stockings:Mrs.Summers's touching of the stockings is based on the throbbing sensation of the body,which points to the possibility of action and the creation of the subject.But in the following aesthetic consumption and information consumption,the concrete object is sepa-rated from the possessive relation with the individual,the emotion is taken into the representation,and is re-constructed into the aesthetic and perceptual symbolic experience in the commodity world,the subject is also disciplined in this kind of consumption logic,which refers to the experiential pleasure of consumption in the atmosphere-building and the information with the sense of distinction.
