Accelerated Situation of Individual Survival and Reproduction and Reconstruc-tion of Community:Exploring the Thought of Community by Zygmunt Bauman
Based on the context of fluid modernity,Bauman tries to realize the impossible possibility of recon-structing community by building connections between people.In the process of launching a series of reflec-tions on community,he starts from a cultural perspective,and on the basis of a careful analysis of"the really existing community",he intends to awaken a sense of moral responsibility among many isolated individuals in accelerated societies,and to establish an intimate connection with each other.But because the idea does not break out of the capitalist framework and remains at the cultural level without practical engagement,Bauman's vision of community cannot and will not fully break out of the capitalist establishment.Fundamentally,the answer to the problem of moving from freedom in the legal sense to freedom in the real sense is to be found in Marxism.
