Measurement of Development Level of Municipal Rural Revitalization and Diag-nosis of Obstacle Factors:Analysis Based on a Sample of 108 Prefecture-level Cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt
Rural revitalization is a major national strategic plan, which is a refinement and concretization of the general objective of the"three rural areas"and the general grasp of the"three rural areas"in the new era,and has pointed out the direction for China's agricultural and rural modernization.Based on 26 specific indi-cators from the 5 dimensions of the general requirements of the rural revitalization strategy,a rural revitaliza-tion assessment index system is constructed to measure the development level of rural revitalization of 108 prefecture-level cities in the Yangtze River Economic Zone by using the entropy value method, and a barrier model is established to analyze the hindering factors of their development. The results show that the overall level of rural revitalization in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and its five dimensions show a steady upward trend from 2010 to 2021,with the highest development level of living affluence and relatively low development level of effective governance among the dimensions;the development level of rural revitalization in the Yang-tze River Economic Belt shows a decreasing distribution pattern from east to west spatially;the income ratio between urban and rural residents, the growth rate of rural residents'household income and the intensity of pesticide application are the main factors hindering the development of rural revitalization in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
