Spatiotemporal Evolution Characteristics of Catering Industry in Chengdu
In order to explore the dynamic spatial pattern of the catering industry in Chengdu in recent years,the spatial and tem-poral heterogeneity was analyzed by using the kernel density spatial method in ArcGIS environment based on the POI data of the ca-tering industry in Chengdu from 2016 to 2022.The following conclusions are drawn:first,in terms of scale,the output value of Chengdu's catering industry shows non-uniform and non-positive growth,among which 2022 is the most prominent year,the pro-portion of the four types of catering industry tends to be uniform,and the proportion of snack bars increases the most in Chengdu;second,from the perspective of time,Chengdu's catering industry as a whole is spiraling,non-positive and non-uniform rising;third,from the perspective of types,the concentration degree and range of snack bars,Chinese restaurants and cold drinks shops have been increasing at a non-uniform rate,while the concentration degree and range of western restaurants have shown a non-uniform and non-positive increase;fourth,the evolution direction of Chengdu gradually changes from northwest-southeast to east-west,and has a southward trend as a whole.
