objective: 36 cases of acute demyelinating encephalopathy cases of our hospital were retrospectively analyzed and sum-marized characteristics of disease and treatment effect, hope to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods: between January 2012 and March 2014 during sex demyelinating encephalopathy in 36 cases of cerebrospinal fluid, eeg and head CT MRI diag-nosis. Results: 36 patients had 16 cases showed normal cerebrospinal fluid examination (44.4%), 20 cases showed abnormal (55.6%). Eeg examination 8 cases (22.2%) is a generalized severe abnormalities, 16 cases (44.4%) have extensive moderately abnormal, 12 cases (33.3%) had extensive mild abnormalities. 36 patients treatment the total effective rate was 77.8% (23/36). Conclusion: the clinical manifestations of the cranial nerve injury more acute demyelinating encephalopathy and parenchymal damage symptoms, electroencephalogram (eeg) and imaging diagnosis has good guidance, comprehensive treatment should be implemented to reduce inflammatory reaction and im-mune suppression.
