Objective To compare the sensitivity and specificity in diagnosis of tubeiculosis by T- SPOT. TB to TB- Ab, in order to discuss their diagnosis values. Method 74 patients suspected to be infected with tuberculosis were taken into study. They were indi-vidually tested by T- SPOT. TB and TB- Ab. When their diagnosis were certain, the sensitivity, specificity, positive prospective value, negative prospective value, positive likelihood ratio and negative likelihood ratio of the two different diagnosis method were calculated. Result Ultimately 52 patients were confirmed to have tuberculosis infected. The T- SPOT. TB showed obvious advantages in sensitivi-ty, specificity, positive prospective value, negative prospective value, positive likelihood ratio and negative likelihood ratio compared to TB- Ab. Conclusion The T- SPOT. TB is a faster and more sensitive method in the diagnosis of tuberculosis compared to TB- Ab.
