Objective To understand the level,composition popular features of the notifiable infectious diseases of Tongjiang county in 2012, in order to give the reference to the governments and the relevant departments formulating the prevention and controlling strategy of the infectious diseases in the future,as wel as provide scientific basis for establishing monitoring system of sudden onset of in-fectious diseases in the future,as well as provide scientific basis for eatablishing monitoring system of sudden onset of infectious disease events. Methods Analysed the data,material of the notifiable infectious diseases of Tongjiang county in 2012 by using descriptive epi-demiological methods. Results Aceording to notifiable infectious diseases report,the incidence was 324.79/100 000 and the fatality rate was 0.36% of Tongjiang county in 2012. Conclusion Infectious mumps is the main infectious disease in Tongjiang county;winter and spring is the high- risk season; scattered children and preschool children are at higher risk.Health education should be strengthened, meanwhile better monitoring work for the infectious disease should be carried on.
