Objective:To analyze the clinical effects of the treatment for hyperthyroidism by methimazole and bisoprolol. Methods:68 patients who suffered from the hyperthyroidism and who accepted treatment in our hospital from January 2012 to January 2013 were taken as the research objects, and these patients were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 34 pa-tients in each group. Then, the clinical effects and the occurrence situations of adverse reactions of these two groups were compared. Outcome:In the observation group, 17 of patients were cured(50.00%), 12 of patients had evident effect (34.29%), 3 of patients had ef-fects (5.88%), 2 of patients had no effects (5.88%), and the whole effective rate was 94.12%. However, in the control group, 8 of patients were cured(23.53%), 13 of patients had evident effect (38.24%), 5 of patients had effects (14.71%), 8 of patients had no effects (5.88%), and the whole effective rate was 76.47%.Thus, the whole effective rate in the observation group was evidently higher than that in the control group and the differences had the statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinical effects of the treatment for hyper-thyroidism by methimazole and bisoprolol are evident, which have high safety and few adverse reactions. Thus, it should be promoted in the clinic applications.
