Objective:To investigate the clinical effects for the treatment of type C distal femoral fractures with LISS under arthroscopy.[Methods] From June 2008 to September 2013,30 patients with type C distal femoral fractures were treated with LISS un-der arthroscopy.According to the AO/OTA fracture classification,there were 12 cases of type C1,13 cases of type C2,5 cases of type C3. [Results] All the cases were followed up for averaging 16 months(10- 32 months).1 case was unhealed,the averaging healing time was 26 weeks. According to the Hss pefermance score,the results of excellent in 20 cases,good in 6 cases,common in 4 cases.[conclu-sion] the treatment of type C distal femoral fractures with LISS under arthroscopy has advantages including high fracture healing rate,less invasive and good recovery of joint function.
