Objectives:To discuss and analyze the feasibility and safety of he nasal blind plug for trismus patients’surgical anesthesia, to improve the surgical effects. Methods: Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 75 trismus patients that cured by the nasal blind plug anesthesia from May 2013 to November 2013, Observed and recorded success rate of the nasal blind plug, the plug time and the related complications. Results:All the 75 patients’surgery are successful, the success rate was 100%, among that, the first time to succeed were 65 cases, account for 86.67%;the second time before succeed were 7 cases, account for 9.33%;the third time before succeed were 3 cases, account for 4.00%. All patients were recovered well after surgery and without anesthesia complications. Conclusion:the effect of the nasal blind plug for trismus patients’surgical anesthesia is quite good, it has high success rate, and it can reduce patients’pain and Promote the rehabilitation because of the small wounds. In short, it is worthy to widely spread and use.
