Objective:To explore the choice of ansethetic methods of extracting esophageal foreign body in children of Africa in order to improve the therapeutic effect. Method:Potentiated surface anesthesia and Ketamine intratracheal intubation anesthesia were applied for children in Africa in operations to 27 case of foreign bodies in esophagus and comparative observations were done to these cases. Result:All the cases had their foreign bodies extracted smoothly. Conclusion:We consid-er that potentiated surface anesthesia and Ketamine intratracheal intubation anesthesia in operation of Extraction Of foreign body in esophagus for children in Africa is safe and effective.
