Objective::to study the pregnant woman weight management of nursing intervention measures and effect. Methods:choose from July 2012 to June in the maternity clinic nursing intervention on weight management single fetal head primipara 400 cases of intervention group ,in July 2011 to June2012 received only pregnancy routine outpatient service not to perform nursing intervention weight of single fetal head primipara 400 cases as control group,the two groups of pregnantwomen pregnancy weight growth,great son incidence,childbirth way to control,carries on the statistical analysis. Results:the incidence of macrosomia in intervention group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.01),natural childbirth is obviously higher than that of the control group (P<0.01) difference have statistical significance. Conclusion:for a pregnant woman weight management for nursing intervention can effectively control body mass index and reduce cesarean section rate and great son incidence.
