Objective:To discuss HRCT features of the congenital deformities of external and middle ear in children so as to provide accurate information for the diagnosis and treatment.Methods:54 cases (66 ears) with deformities of external and middle ear diagnosed clinical y were performed with HRCT. Re-sults:The bone part of the external auditory canal stenosis or atresia occured in 64 ears, tympanic cavity stenosis or obliteration in 59 ears, Ossicle dysplasia or absence in 54 ears, inner ear malformation in 4 ears. Conclusion:HRCT can demonstrate patterns, severity of congenital deformities of external and middle ear accurately, which has already become a indispensable imaging modality for microscopical operation of otology.
