Objective To observe the clinical effect of acetylcysteine effervescent tablets plus seretide (salneterol/fludcasone propionate)in the treatment of pa-tients with silicosis. Methods 60 cases of silicosis were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 30 cases in each group. All of the patients were given conventional therapy,such as anti-inflammation,application of theophylline,oxygen?therapy and so on. Additional,the observation group was treated with seretide(50μg/500μg,once a day )and acetylcysteine effervescent tablets (600mg, oral administration, twice a day).The treatment course of tow group were both 30 days. Results The observation group was better than the control group both in lung function and in clinical symptoms and prognosis (P<0.05). Conclusion:acetyl-cysteine effervescent tablets combined with seretide can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and prognosis of patients with silicosis.
