Study on Construction and Conductivity of Dye-enhanced Proton Exchange Membrane
A novel copper based metal organic framework(Cu MOF)material was constructed based on sulfonic acid imidazolium ion pairs to modify ligands.Cu-MOF was compounded with crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol(CL-PVA)and dyed with X-2R reactive dyes to obtain the dyed film CL-PVA@Cu-MOF-15-Y.Its structure, morphology, dimensional stability and proton conductivity were characterized. The experimental results show that when the dyeing concentration is 10%,the highest proton conductivity of the membrane sample is 3.7×10-2 S/cm at 90%relative humidity and 80℃,and the proton transmission is dominated by the Ve-hicle mechanism. All the properties of the membrane samples were improved to varying degrees, with tensile strength and elonga-tion at break of 24.2 MPa and 230.4%,water absorption rate and swelling rate of 120.6%and 68.2%,respectively.
