Research on Influencing Factors of Uniaxial Tensile Properties of Fiber Reinforced Cement-based Composites
Seven groups of fiber reinforced cement-based composites(ECC)were uniaxial tensile tests. The effects of the types of staple fibers, the volume content of staple fibers and the water-binder ratio on the tensile properties of ECC were studied. The re-sults show that the tensile strength of ECC decreases with the increase of water-binder ratio, but the ultimate tensile strain in-creases,and the strain-hardening characteristics are more obvious. The tensile strength and tensile strain of ECC increased with the increase of fiber content, and the strain reached the maximum when the fiber content was 2.0%.Nissan PVA fiber has the most significant influence on the tensile strength and tensile strain of ECC,followed by domestic PVA fiber, while PP fiber has relatively weak mechanical properties during the tensile process. The research results aim to provide some reference for the popu-larization and application of ECC.
