Temperature Prediction of Ternary Lithium-ion Batteries Based on Dual Models of Heat Generation Rate and Temperature
Accurate prediction of lithium-ion battery temperature is conducive to the safe and reliable thermal management of bat-teries.As the surface temperature rise of lithium-ion battery is lagging behind the internal temperature rise,a temperature estima-tion method of ternary lithium-ion battery based on the dual model of heat generation rate and temperature is proposed to predict the battery temperature.The internal resistance and specific heat capacity of the battery were analyzed by experiments,and the reversible and irreversible heat power of the battery was calculated.The prediction model of heat generation rate and temperature is established.The experimental data of battery temperature rise under different discharge rates are compared with the simulation results.The results show that the output of the surface temperature prediction model is in line with expectation.
