Structural Optimization of Cycolid Sealing Tooth of the Labyrinth Compressor
In view of the problems including sealing leakage of the reciprocating labyrinth compressor and unchangable breadth depth ratio of the traditional cycolid type labyrinth sealing tooth,this paper proposes a new type of cycolid type labyrinth sealing tooth with optimized structure and can be used to adjust the breadth depth ratio while changing dedendum parameters.Fluent dynamic mesh technology is adopted to simulate and analyze the gas flow and sealing performance of the new cycolid type sealing tooth during cylinder operation,and a comparison is carried out between triangular tooth and rectangular tooth seals.The results show that performance of the new cycolid type sealing tooth is 16.6%~20.8%better than the traditional cycolid tooth,and the order of impact of the addendum-dedendum length ratio on sealing performance is 4∶1,4∶4,4∶2,4∶3,and 4∶0.Sealing performance of the new cycolid tooth is respectively 5%and 17%better than the rectangular tooth and the triangular tooth.
