This paper introduces the reasons and solutions for dimensional changes during the processing of products by 5-axis machining center.The 840D_SL on-line inspection is applied for MILL FX 800 5-axis machining center to solve the problems during part inspection before moving the parts off-line to avoid unqualified processing and second time processing error.
