Study on Ductile-brittle Transition Temperature of Improved IN706 Alloy
Improved IN706 alloy is obtained on the basis of traditional IN706 alloy by increasing the content of Al and decreasing the content of Nb.Impact tests are carried out in the temperature range of-102~160℃,results show that neither alloy has ductile-brittle transition characteristics, and the impact performance of the improved alloy is better than that of the traditional alloy as a whole.By observing the fracture morphology,it is found that there is no significant difference in the fracture morphology of the improved alloy at different impact test temperatures.
