Control of Inner Diameter Shrinkage of Fiberglass Reinforced Polyether Ether Ketone Coil Spool
This paper analyzes the shrinkage problem of inner ring of the domestically produced glass fiber reinforced polyether ether ketone coil spool found during prototype development of a certain control rod drive mechanism(CRDM).Through experiment, the cause is identified, improvement measures for controlling inner diameter shrinkage during raw material manufacturing and coil winding of the coil spool are proposed by combining with the manufacturing process of CRDM coil.Experiment results show that the measures taken are effective.
